No7 Restore & Renew Night Cream 50Ml
About this deal
As somebody who struggles with acne, I'm pleased to report that none of the No7 Future Renew products resulted in any major breakouts. The brand carried out 37 studies on over 4,200 people, including two clinical trials and 23 user trials. I have been slathering it on on top of a moisturising toner and a moisture essence that I already had, and I have to say, I am gobsmacked at the results within a week! This indulgent, deeply hydrating night cream quenches skin instantly, leaving it moisturised for up to 72 hours. Although I still adore it, the sun protection isn't broad-spectrum (meaning it doesn't contain any protection against UVA rays), and it's too much for my oily skin to use both the day cream and a broad-spectrum SPF on top.
With the new peptide blend and other skin-nourishing ingredients including shea butter this is a lovely cosseting cream to slot into your evening skincare ritual. The new peptide blend effectively tricks the skin into thinking that it has been damaged to signal renewal of key proteins such as collagen and fibrillin to boost skin’s natural self-repair mechanisms, targeting signs of cumulative damage both on and under the surface. With No7's unique anti-wrinkle, antioxidant-rich formula, this night cream fortifies, nourishes and evens skin tone for a revitalised, youthful radiance. Along with retinoids, peptides are ingredients I look out for in my skincare, which is why I was intrigued to go along to a secret briefing by No7 a couple of months ago (the peptide-containing subject of which has just gone on sale this week – more of that in a moment). Each jar is infused with a new pre-sleep fragrance to help you to feel relaxed and unwind in preparation for sleep - you can say goodnight to fine lines as they appear visibly reduced in just 4 weeks. I have only used it for a few days and already can see the difference, my skin is smoother and lines near my eyes and mouth are reduced. Although this new peptide technology is very exciting, it's not to say that the products themselves, complete with filler ingredients and everything else that make up a cosmetics product, can harness the same results the technology shows in vitro.
The idea is that peptides encourage the skin to repair itself after damage has negatively affected it in terms of reduced collagen and elastin formation.Improves 3 key signs of ageing, skin feels firmer, wrinkles appear visibly reduced, skin looks visibly smoother and firmer, and skin tone appears more even. After 3 days of using the day and night cream my skin feels amazing and so smooth, it's taken years off my skin. No7 claims it reverses signs of ageing in 4 weeks (think lines, uneven texture, lack of firmness) and I concur – I’ve been using it for just over a month. Because of this, I do tend to take No7 launches (in the same way I take all beauty launches) with a pinch of salt—the brand always has a huge amount to live up to.
