Fairfields Farm Crisps Lightly Sea Salted 40 g (Pack of 24)
About this deal
Absolutely everything takes place on the family farm, from digging up and hand selecting the quality of the potatoes used, to washing, slicing, cooking and bagging at the on-site factory. The Chevallier family use English apples like Cox and Bramley, which give their Cyder vinegar and our crisps their unique and delicious taste. We’re particularly excited, though, to be really focusing on what a sustainable future means for us. These are then delivered from our farm across the UK to retailers, wholesalers and our consumers’ front doors! POWERED BY RENEWABLE ENERGY As well as growing delicious potatoes and crisps, we are passionate about making our processes as sustainable as possible and strive to be a carbon-neutral company.
We really believe that to understand a small business like ours you need to see it for yourself, and so visits from our contacts at the East of England Co-op to the family farm are always welcome. Made with homegrown potatoes from the family farm which make a great base for this moreish, meaty flavour of roast rib of beef. We’ve come out of the pandemic in a strong position to grow, and we’ve made investments on the farm to help us along – new lines to wash potatoes, and new equipment to make our factory more efficient.
We’re Laura and Robert Strathern, a third-generation farming family growing potatoes, and producers of award-winning crisps right here on the farm. Fairfields Farm was founded by Robert and Laura Strathern, whose families have been farming in East Anglia for three generations. These delicious sweet chilli flavoured potato crisps have been homegrown and handcooked on Fairfields Farm so you can enjoy every crunchy bite with a sweet but fiery chilli flavour that we all love! Fairfields farms are BRC (Grade AA) accredited and they grow unique special varieties of crisping potatoes which are hand cooked on the farm to the highest possible standards. We also scatter feed for them through winter until Spring, at a time of year when it’s difficult for them to find food.
I wanted to say how glad I am to have found them, amazing flavour and best potatoes I’ve tasted in a long time.
